OPTIONAL SET UP FOR WIRELESS IN-EAR MONITOR SYSTEM

"The Kingfish" now travels with their own wireless in-ear monitor system. These are not required, but preferred to be used by the performer in place of a stage monitor system for better sight lines and to eliminate on-stage feedback.

Requirements:

• FOH Mixing console needs to have 4 discreet auxilliary sends (all Pre-Fade and Post EQ for each input channel), or a separate monitor console to provide 4 discreet mixes from all stage inputs and effects returns.

• Auxilliary sends should be terminated with either balanced 1/4" TRS at the rear of the console to use existing cables, or sound company would provides 4) XLR male cables from the console's auxilliary sends.

• A sound check prior to the start of the performance will be necessary to adjust auxillary sends for each performers personal mix.

• Option - If the above requirements are not available, the performer is able to provide a compact digital mixing console (Yamaha O1V96VCM) with established presets for the discreet personal in-ear monitor mixes. A transformer isolated microphone splitter would need to be provided for all stage inputs terminated to XLR male connectors.

Please contact the performer prior to the performance to confirm what which of the above options would be available.

• The technical staff provided by the artist will perform a pre-show frequency scan and program the necessary presets on the transmitters and belt-packs receivers to assure optimum wireless operations. The wireless in-ear monitor system furnished by the performer includes 2) Audio-Technica M3 transmitters, 4) Audio-Technica M3R belt-pack receivers, and Shure SCL-3 earphones with Sensaphonics custom sleeves.

Note: The Audio-Technica M3 transmitters also provides a loop through output for each channel allowing the sound company to patch both in-ear monitors and stage monitors simultaneously for other performers that may be scheduled to perform at the venue that do not use in-ear monitors.
